Narcist Union Fashion Definition

The habit of people continually changing the style of clothing worn, which is now worldwide, at least among urban populations, is generally held by historians to be a distinctively Western one.[dubious – discuss] At other periods in Ancient Rome and other cultures changes in costume occurred, often at times of economic or social change, but then a long period without large changes followed. In 8th century Cordoba, Spain, Ziryab, a famous musician - a star in modern terms - is said to have introduced sophisticated clothing styles based on seasonal and daily timings from his native Baghdad and his own inspiration.

The beginnings of the habit in Europe of continual and increasingly rapid change in styles can be fairly reliably dated to the middle of the 14th century, to which historians including James Laver and Fernand Braudel date the start of Western fashion in clothing.[2][3] The most dramatic manifestation was a sudden drastic shortening and tightening of the male over-garment, from calf-length to barely covering the buttocks, sometimes accompanied with stuffing on the chest to look bigger. This created the distinctive Western male outline of a tailored top worn over leggings or trousers which is still with us today.

The pace of change accelerated considerably in the following century, and women and men’s fashion, especially in the dressing and adorning of the hair, became equally complex and changing. Art historians are therefore able to use fashion in dating images with increasing confidence and precision, often within five years in the case of 15th century images. Initially changes in fashion led to a fragmentation of what had previously been very similar styles of dressing across the upper classes of Europe, and the development of distinctive national styles, which remained very different until a counter-movement in the 17th to 18th centuries imposed similar styles once again, finally those from Ancien Régime in France.[3]:317-24 Though fashion was always led by the rich, the increasing affluence of early modern Europe led to the bourgeoisie and even peasants following trends at a distance sometimes uncomfortably close for the elites - a factor Braudel regards as one of the main motors of changing fashion.[3]:313-15

Narcist Union Clips ” what does not kill you makes you stronger “

What’s happening in the underground world in Indonesia may one day take the international fashion world by storm.

At least that’s how Jodia Natapradja, an Australian-born clothing and accessories designer whose parents came from Bandung, perceives growing clothing scene from the city.

“There are so many happening things in Bandung for fashion design there. It’s untapped and the world has yet to see,” says the 26-year-old designer for Some label, a street and surf wear brand from Sydney.

Jodia says that creative-wise, the young designers from Bandung, who establish their own distros (independent label), have much to offer to the global urban fashion scene.


The label that he works (also known as Insight) was formed 10 years ago by an Australian surfer. Then it designed only t-shirts but has now shifted into designing more dress.

The brand is similar to other surf labels, such as Quiksilver, Billabong and Ripcurl, but has an eclectic edge to its design, apparent in its t-shirts, handbags and scarves.

Insight, which target market are people from age 16 to 25, started with only 25 personnel. Now it has more than 60 people with brand presence in 40 countries. Besides the U.S. and Europe, the label has entered the Indonesian market in which it has its own domestic designers.

The Morning After ..

Sekilas tentang The Morning After, secara pribadi warna musik yang dibawakan memang serasa pernah dikenal, banyak yang bilang seperti Pure Saturday, btw memang enak didengar dengan permainan gitar melodius yang menggemaskan :p . Karena kalo loe sendiri PD sama apa yang loe bawain sampe ke warna music yang tidak seperti biasanya kadang hasilnya jauh lebih mengagumkan, ya kaya band ini.

Sekilas :

The Morning After [TMA] terbentuk sejak tahun 2001 di kota Malang. Nama band ini diambil dari sebuah majalah terbitan Belanda. Band yang beraliran rock alternatif ini pada awalnya terdiri dari 3 personel, Bambang Iswanto pada vokal & gitar, Akhmad Nasution pada bass, dan Onny Maretino Nugroho pada drum. Awalnya Bambang dkk hanya dikenal sebagai band kecil yang doyan mengulik musik dan lagu di tempat tongkrongan mereka, yaitu studio musik Nero [Malang]. Di studio rekaman ini pula mereka bergaul dengan sejumlah band lokal seperti Screaming Factor, C4, Brigade 07, sampai Wai Rejected. Karir musik mereka dimulai dari bikin demo rekaman dan tampil di sejumlah panggung lokal. Awalnya sederhana saja, TMA hanya manggung di event kecil, street gigs atau pentas kampus dengan mengusung musik karya sendiri - yang kadang diselipi lagu kover dari The Smashing Pumpkins. Setelah sekitar 3 tahun mereka bertiga sering manggung dan membuat lagu,mereka akhirnya memutuskan untuk menambah satu personel lagi. akhirnya pada tahun 2004 mereka merekrut pemain gitar yang bernama Pramudia Ananta.

Music indie label berawal dari gebrakan grup musik yang menerobos aturan baku di bisnis musik yang sudah memiliki pakem tersendiri dimana dari jalur produksi sampe ke distribusi diurus oleh perusahaan besar musik yang akan mengatur segala urusan tetek bengek sang pemusik itu sendiri sehingga warna musik yang ditawarkan akan lebih berkompromi dan lebih komersil mengingat adanya feedback yang harus dikejar untuk menutupi segala biaya yang timbul di depan. Untuk urusan idealisme bermusik ini sangat bertentangan dengan begitu banyak manusia yang cinta banget sama musik dan memiliki warna, rasa, idealisme, getaran, sensasi musik yang mereka tawarkan. Mungkin pertama kali mereka merasakan resistensi oleh pakem industri musik yang memiliki jalur sendiri dimana ya para pemusik diminta untuk lebih fleksibel dan berkompromi untuk beberapa hal yang sering kali bertabrakan dengan idealisme dan semangat bermusik yang mereka bawakan . Setelah terobosan dengan melakukan segala hal sampe distribusi dimana musik yang mereka tawarkan sampe ke pendengar yang suka dengan warna musik yang cenderung kadang tidak mudah untuk didengar dan terasa lebih idealis, mereka menggunakan cara yang berbeda dengan melakukan produksi sendiri, distribusi sendiri membuat label produks sendiri dan laen-laen yang sering disebut indie label atau Band Indie untuk pelakunya .
